1. Introduction
DAPSCNECT LTD (“DapsCnect,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates AI-powered data infrastructure services for individuals, institutions, and governments. Protecting personal data is central to our mission. We design our products and internal processes to minimize data errors while safeguarding the privacy and security of the information entrusted to us.

This notice applies to personal data processed when you:
- Use the DapsCnect mobile application or related apps
- Access our websites, web platforms (including DapsKYC and DapsAI), and online services
- Create an account, submit documents, or interact with our support team
- Communicate with us for sales, marketing, partnerships, or employment purposes

3. Legal framework
We comply with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and regulations issued by the Data Protection Commission of Ghana. Where our services are used by individuals in other jurisdictions, we also take into account applicable requirements, including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where relevant, U.S. state privacy laws.
Our processing activities are governed by our registration with the Data Protection Commission and by contractual obligations with clients and partners who entrust us with personal data.

When we process data on behalf of institutional clients (such as migration agencies or compliance teams using DapsKYC), those clients may act as data controllers for certain processing activities. In such cases, we act as a data processor and process data in accordance with our agreements with those clients.

We adhere to the core principles of data protection under Ghanaian law and international best practice:
- Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency — we process data on valid legal grounds and communicate clearly about our practices.

We implement organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include access controls, encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate, secure development practices, staff training, and regular review of our security posture.
No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

DapsCnect is registered in Ghana and the United States. Personal data may be processed in either jurisdiction or by service providers in other countries. When we transfer personal data across borders, we implement appropriate safeguards — such as contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or other mechanisms recognized under applicable law — to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
10. Data breach notification
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Data Protection Commission of Ghana and affected individuals as required by law. We maintain internal procedures to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents promptly.
